October 1st, 2009 by buzzbuddy | Filed under News.On September 12th, J.R Celski got a thigh slice during the national short track championship and have a surgery. The orthopedic surgeon who monitors his rehabilitation is Eric Heiden, a five-time Olympic gold medalist.
Celski trust Eric because he thinks that there are no better person to see besides a former speedskater that really know what is needed by him to stay positive, and hopefully, to be able to do skating again.
Heiden’s father an wife is both an orthopedic surgeon, now I start to wonder wheter one of two Eric’s children will follow their parents footstep or not. We’ll see.
