The Picture of Dorian Gray Box Office Movie Info

The first time I know about Dorian Gray characters is when I watch League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in (2003), Dorian gray was recruited to a team of extraordinary people (if we don’t call them superheroes) because of his knowledge and immortality. Dorian Gray’s immortality only rivaled by Mina Harker’s vampire immortality in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie.

But I’m not going to talk about League of Extraordinary Gentlemen here, It is The Picture of Dorian Gray, which often mistitled as The Portrait of Dorian Gray published in 1890. The story about Dorian revolve around when he met with Basil Hallward that was obsessed with Dorian Gray beauty and made Dorian the subject of his painting. The story of Dorian continues when he was introduced to Lord Henry that made Dorian dragged into Lord Henry’s life style

When Dorian Gray too, became obsessed with his beauty, he then trying to obtain immortality. Dorian sell his soul and made it so the painting will age while Dorian will not aging. However, the painting of Dorian is not only show Dorian’s normal ages, but also all of Dorian sins.

The actor and actress participating in this film are Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian), directed Oliver Parket.  The Picture of Dorian Gray movie will be released at September 9 2009. Be sure to watch this Dorian Gray movie. I hope the film can entertain its watcher since his character in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is lack of background story, and he was one the culprit after all. Anyway, I heard that the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 2 will be coming too. Can’t wait for those good movies.
